We do not sell your data, and we never ask for brokerage credentials or payment details (payments, when live, are handled by Stripe on their systems).
The free tier may show ads supplied by Google AdSense. Ad scripts are only loaded after you answer the cookie banner; if you accept only necessary cookies, we request non-personalized ads. Google may set its own cookies and process data as an independent controller — see Google’s partner-sites policy.
Paid subscribers see no ads at all: the ad markup is never sent to their browser, so no advertising script or cookie is loaded for them.
To operate the product (your watchlists and alerts need an account), send the digest you asked for, secure the service, and understand aggregate usage. Legal bases: performance of contract, your consent (newsletter — every email has one-click unsubscribe), and legitimate interest (security).
We keep simple daily counters — how many times a ticker page was viewed, how often a screener filter was used, how many watchlists include a given ticker. These counters record a number against a ticker and a date; they do not record who did it. No account, session or device identifier is stored alongside them.
A number is only ever shown or shared once it reflects at least 10 separate occurrences — smaller counts are withheld, since a very small number could otherwise hint at an individual’s activity. This is different from the “we don’t sell your data” commitment above, which is about data that identifies you: these counters never identify anyone, by design, so there is no individual data here to sell in the first place. We may use these de-identified, aggregate trends internally or share them with or license them to third parties (for example, as an aggregate indicator of retail attention to particular stocks).
Holdings you enter in the Portfolio tracker are stored in your browser’s local storage. Analysis requests send only symbols and share counts to compute results — they are not persisted server-side.
We use only functional cookies: your session (login) and your preferences (language, experience mode). No cross-site tracking cookies.
Account data is kept while your account exists; deleting your account removes it. Newsletter emails are deleted on unsubscribe. You can request access, correction or deletion of your data at any time — contact us via the details on the FAQ page. EU/UK users: these are your GDPR rights; you may also lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority.
We rely on a small set of infrastructure processors (hosting, database, email delivery, payments) bound by their own data-processing agreements. We share only what each needs to function.
