METHODOLOGY

A call = a stock landing in a signal's top quintile across the scored universe on a given day (bottom quintile = bearish call).
A hit = that stock beating the universe median forward return over the window — market-neutral, so a rising tide alone earns nothing.
No look-ahead by construction: readings are recorded nightly, before the returns they are graded on exist. History is never edited.
No claims without data: a signal reports nothing until it has 30+ graded calls. Random chance ≈ 50% — judge every number against that.
